Mechanical Engineer

• Job Overview:

A Mechanical Engineer at an MEP site is responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection in construction projects. The role involves ensuring all mechanical work is performed safely, correctly, and according to the project’s requirements. The engineer must also have experience in tendering processes for MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Planning:
• Help design mechanical systems for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Project Coordination:

Work closely with contractors, other engineers, and the project manager to ensure the mechanical systems are installed correctly, on time, and within budget.

• Site Supervision:

Oversee the mechanical installation work on-site to ensure quality and safety.Test and inspect mechanical systems after installation to ensure they function as intended.Assist in the preparation of tender documents and estimates for mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in bids.Maintain records of designs, inspections, and any issues, and regularly report progress to the project manager.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on MEP projects.
• Must have a Mechanical Engineer CRPEP License
• Available for Local Transfer
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From BD800.000 per month
