About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Officer in Paediatrics to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents while supporting consultants and ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage paediatric patients in OPD, emergency, and inpatient settings
- Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist consultants during ward rounds and procedures
- Provide timely medical treatment and emergency care when required
- Counsel parents and guardians regarding treatment plans and preventive healthcare
- Coordinate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
- Follow hospital protocols, ethical standards, and infection control policies
Requirements
- MBBS degree recognized by [Relevant Medical Council]
- Valid PMDC/PMC license (or applicable registration)
- Completed house job/internship
- Experience in paediatrics preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations effectively
