Medical Officer - Paediatric

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Officer in Paediatrics to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care to infants, children, and adolescents while supporting consultants and ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage paediatric patients in OPD, emergency, and inpatient settings
• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
• Assist consultants during ward rounds and procedures
• Provide timely medical treatment and emergency care when required
• Counsel parents and guardians regarding treatment plans and preventive healthcare
• Coordinate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
• Follow hospital protocols, ethical standards, and infection control policies

Requirements

• MBBS degree recognized by [Relevant Medical Council]
• Valid PMDC/PMC license (or applicable registration)
• Completed house job/internship
• Experience in paediatrics preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency situations effectively
