Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, planning, and execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across residential, commercial, and high-rise projects.
- Analyze architectural and structural layouts to deliver integrated MEP solutions that comply with project requirements and local regulations.
- Carry out load calculations, system sizing, equipment selection, and layout designs for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems using relevant engineering tools.
- Prepare, review, and update technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, and other modeling software.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and civil teams to ensure seamless coordination of MEP systems with other disciplines.
- Review subcontractor shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
- Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and compliance with approved drawings and technical standards.
- Supervise and support system testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP installations.
- Implement energy-efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions in MEP system design and execution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges in coordination with consultants, vendors, and clients.
- Contribute to improving internal design standards, workflows, and technical knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 8–10 years of professional experience in MEP design, supervision, and execution of villa, commercial, and high-rise developments.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in design software such as HAP, Duct Sizer, Dialux, ETAP, AutoCAD, and Revit.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, DEWA, and MEW.
- Valid driving license is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Age preference: 35–40 years.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work under pressure with extended hours when required.
