Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Site MEP Engineer to oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works on-site. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing designs, coordinating multidisciplinary works, supervising installation activities, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and local codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and monitor MEP systems including HVAC, power distribution, low-voltage systems, plumbing & drainage, fire protection, and ELV systems in accordance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards (GB, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, etc.).
• Perform technical calculations such as:
• o HVAC load calculations Hydraulic calculations Lighting calculations Cable sizing and voltage drop calculations Equipment selection and verification
• Prepare and review equipment schedules, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• Utilize engineering software including Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HAP, and Dialux for MEP design review, coordination, and clash detection.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and interior teams to optimize MEP routing, plant room layouts, and shaft space allocation.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure installation works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Develop and monitor MEP construction schedules and resource allocation plans.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
• Select, evaluate, and manage MEP subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare technical reports, RFIs, method statements, and progress updates.
• Execute additional MEP technical and project management tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in MEP construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of international standards (GB, ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC).
• Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HAP, and Dialux.
• Strong technical calculation and design verification skills.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, or industrial projects preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• BIM coordination experience
• Knowledge of local authority regulations
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
