MEP Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing Project Documents:

Analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

Understand project specifications, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and contract requirements.

Cost Estimation:

Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs for MEP systems.

Use estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, PlanSwift, Bluebeam) for accurate calculations.

Develop detailed cost breakdowns and pricing schedules.

Quantity Take-offs:

Perform material take-offs (MTO) for mechanical (HVAC), electrical, and plumbing systems.

Ensure accuracy in quantity calculations to avoid cost overruns.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination:

Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.

Compare pricing and select cost-effective solutions.

Value Engineering:

Identify cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality.

Suggest design modifications to optimize cost efficiency.

Bid Preparation & Submission:

Compile cost estimates into professional bid proposals.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients for bid finalization.

Risk Assessment:

Identify potential project risks related to costs, materials, and timelines.

Include contingency measures in estimates.

Post-Tender Support:

Assist in negotiations and clarification of submitted estimates.

Provide cost breakdowns if required by the client.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • MEP Estimation : 3 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English &Hindi (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • UAE Driving license (Required)
