Job Summary

We are a leading Construction Company seeking a skilled and proactive MEP Mechanical Engineer specialized in HVAC and Plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical services across our active construction projects, ensuring all works meet UAE regulatory standards and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site installation of HVAC (Chillers, AHUs, Ducting) and Plumbing systems (Drainage, Water Supply, Firefighting).
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and MEP coordination drawings.
• Liaise with authorities (DEWA/ADDC, Municipality, Civil Defence) to ensure full compliance.
• Coordinate closely with the civil team and subcontractors to resolve on-site clashes.
• Monitor work progress, conduct inspections, and prepare daily/weekly technical reports.
• Manage testing and commissioning (T&C) phases for all mechanical systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven MEP experience within the UAE construction industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of HVAC load calculation software (HAP).
• Regulations: Strong understanding of UAE building codes, Estidama/Al Safat requirements, and Civil Defence regulations.
• Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills; ability to manage multicultural site teams.
