MEP Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven MEP Project Manager to oversee & responsible for leading and managing all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects — from planning and execution through to commissioning and handover. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and local authority regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, plan, and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works from project initiation to completion.
Coordinate and supervise MEP subcontractors, specialists, and vendors on site.
Ensure MEP systems are installed correctly and comply with drawings, technical specs, safety standards, and regulations.
Review, approve, and manage shop drawings, submittals, method statements, and commissioning plans.
Monitor project progress, schedules, budgets, and quality assurance/quality control.
Resolve technical issues, identify risks, and propose corrective solutions.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management or clients.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities (e.g., local municipality/approvals).
Support commissioning, snagging, testing, and final handover processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
Significant experience (often 7–15+ years) in MEP project management or construction.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera), and MEP software like AutoCAD/Revit.
Good understanding of local codes, safety standards, and authority procedures (UAE context).

Coordinate project meetings and MEP activities across disciplines.
Track project milestones, cost control, and documentation.
Support procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Attend inspections and ensure compliance with authorities like Municipality or Civil Defence.
