Head of MEP

For 10 years we have been successfully implementing our architectural projects on the world stage.

Due to fast growth and launching new projects, we are looking for Head of MEP to join our team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership & Strategy:

• Lead the MEP department and develop strategic plans aligned with company objectives.
• Build and mentor high-performing MEP teams.
• Finalize all MEP suppliers and arrange procurement of MEP materials according to the project budget and schedule.
• Good knowledge of UAE manpower supply companies.
• Preparation of BOQ and estimation.
• Contract preparation and negotiation of its conditions.

2. Design & Technical Oversight

• Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and structural teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, international standards, and safety regulations.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize cost and efficiency.

3. Project Execution

• Oversee MEP installation works from design through commissioning.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure smooth coordination between site teams and consultants.

4. Stakeholder Management

• Act as primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors on MEP matters.
• Participate in technical meetings and progress reviews.
• Support business development with technical inputs and proposals.

5. Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure QA/QC procedures are implemented and maintained.
• Oversee testing & commissioning processes.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional certifications (PMP, LEED, Chartered Engineer, etc.) are an advantage.
• Minimum 12–18 years of MEP experience.
• Experience in both construction contracting and engineering consultancy environments.
• Proven experience leading large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projects.
• DEWA license is required.
