MS Dynamics 365 CRM Consultant (Techno-Functional)

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Techno-Functional Consultant is responsible for delivering end-to-end Dynamics 365 CRM solutions by bridging business requirements and technical implementation. The role works closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and developers to design, configure, customize, and support scalable CRM solutions that improve business processes and customer engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Analyze business processes and gather functional requirements across Dynamics 365 CRM modules (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Field Service)
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and solution designs
  • Configure and customize Dynamics 365 CRM entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows, and security roles
  • Provide techno-functional support for customizations including plugins, JavaScript, Power Automate flows, and integrations
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, or middleware
  • Support data migration, data validation, and master data management activities
  • Participate in solution design discussions, estimations, and implementation planning
  • Conduct functional testing, system testing, UAT support, and issue resolution
  • Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation including FDDs, TDDs, and user guides
  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and CRM best practices
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4–7 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM as a Techno-Functional Consultant
  • Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 CRM modules (Sales, Service, Marketing, Field Service)
  • Hands-on experience in configuration and customization of entities, forms, views, workflows, and security models
  • Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 technical components including plugins, JavaScript, Power Automate, and integrations
  • Experience supporting data migration and working with SQL Server or Dataverse
  • Strong understanding of CRM business processes and end-to-end implementation lifecycle
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum implementation environments
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
