Job Purpose

The Network & CCTV Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure along with commissioning CCTV and surveillance systems. This dual role requires expertise in network engineering and hands-on experience in CCTV installations, configuration, and integration with client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VLANs.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, wireless solutions, CCTV systems including IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, and VMS platforms.
• Configure and manage VPNs, IP addressing, and Switching routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability.
• Implement network security measures and conduct regular audits.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level network support for escalated issues.
• Ensure proper integration of CCTV with networking infrastructure.
• Conduct site surveys, prepare BoQ, and provide technical input for project planning.
• Troubleshoot CCTV system faults, including video loss, poor image quality, or connectivity issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in networking and CCTV systems.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, and routing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, etc.).
• Proficiency in CCTV systems (Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, or similar).
• Experience in CCTV commissioning including camera setup, IP configuration, and VMS integration.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and site layouts.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, CCTV vendor certifications) preferred.
