Job Accountabilities

Oversee the offboarding process for all departing employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements.

Coordinate with relevant departments to facilitate a seamless exit for employees.

Conduct exits interviews to gather feedback on employee experiences and identify areas for improvement.

Analyze exit interview data and prepare reports for management to inform organizational changes.

Create and maintain standardized procedures for the exit process, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies.

Inform departing employees of the exit process, including timelines, required documentation, and final steps.

Arrange exit interviews with departing employees in a timely manner, ideally before their last working day.

Conduct exits interviews in a supportive and confidential manner, allowing employees to express their thoughts and feelings freely.

Take comprehensive notes during exit interviews to capture key themes and feedback for analysis.

Aggregate data from exit interviews to identify trends in employee turnover and common reasons for leaving.

Prepare reports summarizing exit interview insights for management, highlighting areas for improvement and potential action items.

Ensure that all information gathered during exit interviews is kept confidential and used solely for improvement purposes.

Adhere to data privacy laws when handling and storing exit interview data.

Collaborate with relevant departments to implement action plans based on exit interview findings to improve workplace culture and employee retention.

Monitor the effectiveness of changes made in response to exit interview feedback by assessing employee satisfaction and retention rates over time.

Ensure the return of all company assets, including equipment, keys, and access badges.

Manage the deactivation of employee accounts and access rights.

Facilitate knowledge transfer between departing employees and remaining staff to minimize disruption.

Prepare and maintain offboarding documentation, including resignation letters and termination forms.

Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations during the offboarding process.

Communicate offboarding procedures to employees and guide them through the exit process.

Collaborate with management to address any concerns related to offboarding employees.

Coordinate with the payroll department to ensure timely processing of final paychecks and benefits.

Address any questions or concerns related to final settlements or benefits continuation.
Necessary Knowledge and Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in onboarding, human resources, or a related field.

Understanding labor laws related to termination, severance, and employee

Industry / Domain: Construction
