Office Manager (Construction Industry)

Condon Custom Builders is a high-end residential construction company specializing in custom homes and renovations throughout Fairfield County. We are seeking an experienced Office Manager with a construction background to support daily operations, coordinate field teams, and manage project documentation.

This is a key role within a growing company, offering the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of construction operations and work closely with ownership.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily office operations and administrative workflow
• Coordinate scheduling and dispatching of field staff and subcontractors
• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Maintain project logs, budgets, and documentation in Excel
• Assist with proposals, contracts, and job documentation
• Support project managers with scheduling, timelines, and deliverables
• Track project progress and assist with cost/budget oversight
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and support client needs

Qualifications

• Construction industry experience required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (tracking, formulas, organization)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience coordinating field personnel or subcontractors preferred
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, reliable, and solution-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, or similar software
• Familiarity with permitting, inspections, and scheduling
• Basic bookkeeping or QuickBooks experience
• Experience in high-end residential construction strongly preferred

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
