Operation Engineer

Job Title: Operations Engineer – Falcon Bearings & Gears Manufacturing LLC

Reports To: Technical Director and/or Head of Operations

Job Purpose

The Operations Engineer will manage day-to-day technical coordination between customers, procurement, and the shop floor. The role ensures seamless workflow—from reviewing customer drawings to material planning, technical clarifications, production follow-up, and on-time delivery of white metal bearings and related components.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Coordination
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers.
• Understand job requirements, clarify specifications, and maintain timely communication throughout the order cycle.
• Technical Drawing Review
• Analyse, interpret, and approve engineering drawings for bearings, housings, and rotating equipment components.
• Identify missing information and coordinate with customers or design teams for corrections.
• If the required technical approvals are beyond the educational qualification levels, liaise with the Technical Director and facilitate approvals of the drawings and documents.
• Material & Purchase Planning
• Review drawings and job requirements to determine raw material specifications.
• Prepare accurate bill of materials (BOM) and raise purchase requests to the procurement department.
• Track material availability to avoid production delays.
• Production Coordination
• Collaborate closely with the machine shop, welding, white-metalling, machining and assembly teams to resolve technical doubts and ensure proper execution of jobs.
• Monitor job progress and escalate issues proactively.
• Quality & Compliance
• Ensure all works meet internal quality standards and customer specifications.
• Support NCR (Non-Conformance Report) handling and corrective action follow-up.
• Delivery & Documentation
• Track order timelines to ensure on-time completion and dispatch.
• Prepare technical reports, maintain job documentation, and completion summaries, through out the project cycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Atleast 5 years of experience in a precision engineering, machine shop. Experience in rotating equipment, or hydrodynamic bearings industries would be ideal, but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, machining processes, and material specifications.
• Experience in coordinating procurement and production.

• Ability to multitask and manage several jobs simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Team-oriented with strong follow-up and coordination capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
