Mechanical Engineer (MEP)

SME Electromechanical is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in MEP systems to join our growing team in Dubai. We specialize in challenging projects, including significant high-rise developments.

Position: Mechanical Engineer (MEP)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, designing, and calculating HVAC, plumbing, and drainage systems for various projects, focusing on efficiency and sustainability.
• Producing detailed design drawings, bill of quantities (BOQ), and equipment specifications.
• Managing and supervising the installation and testing of mechanical systems on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Liaising with the Electrical team and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of all building services.
• Performing load calculations and energy modeling to optimize system performance.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 8 years of documented experience in MEP design and execution within the UAE.
• Must be readily available in Dubai for immediate employment.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements (e.g., DEWA, Trakhees, DM).

Highly Desirable Skills:

• Solid experience with MEP systems in high-rise and complex building structures.
