- Efficient and smooth handling and arrangement of shipments.
- Approve bookings for container and freight pick up and ensure coordination for shipments.
- Take responsibility for the shipment from its origin country until the shipment is delivered
- Review signs-off shipping documents while ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Notify consignees, or customers of the arrival of freight, and arrange for delivery.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations for all equipment and materials
- Review and follow up on the documents, processes, and controls of freight payment and audit system and ensure all documents, processes, and controls are updated.
- Obtaining, checking, and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with overseas countries’ regulations and fiscal regimes.
- Maintaining customer’s focus at all times and answering customer’s enquiries by attending Calls & Emails using standard guidelines
- Taking ownership of complaints and queries and proactively following through to resolution
- Advise clients on transportation and payment methods.
- Determine the method of shipment, and assist with the preparation of bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
- Prepare to cost and billing sheet and keep supporting documents in a file
- Update shipment details and events in the job tracker on time.
- Ensure prompt and accurate declaration/information to carrier or consolidator.
- Responsible for ensuring each shipment generates the maximum contribution to the company by keeping a constant focus on meeting the required service level at the lowest possible cost.
Minimum Education: Min Bachelor’s / MBA
Experience: Min 1 – 2 Year
Salary scale: 65K – 75K
