Operations Director - Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi

As an Operations Director, you will provide overall guidance and direction for general ride and attraction operations as well as admissions, ticketing and entrance operations. You will be the primary person responsible for the day to day operation of the general areas of the park, depending on the approved leisure facility organizational chart.

You will oversee the core operation of the park ensuring a safe, smooth, and efficient operation. You will oversee and ensure that all the functions of the Guest Services team are available to operate during park operation hours for our guests.

You must work closely with all operational teams and department heads including Maintenance to be able to provide guests with the safest and most enjoyable experience possible. The Ride Operations and Guest Services teams report directly to the Operations Director and the Security and Park Services teams have a dotted line to this role, therefore you must liaise with these departments in order to ensure smooth running of the leisure facility. Your responsibilities will also include:

• Leading, directing, and managing the operations division to ensure guest safety and high levels of customer service are met at all times.
• Being the designated person in charge of the day-to-day operation of the park in the absence of the Deputy General Manager.
• Responsible for providing supervision, guidance, coaching, and training of colleagues consisting of senior management, middle management, admin support and frontline colleagues.
• Responsible for the strategic management of resources and budgets to ensure the park and company meets all established financial goals.
• Ensuring manpower is planned accordingly based on manufacturers’ recommendations, safe operation and park attendance.
• Improving operational efficiency in the leisure facility to enhance the guest experience and reduce operational costs.
• Managing any emergency situations that may arise in order to minimize possible damage, loss or injury to any guests, colleagues or company property. Performing other reasonable duties as requested by senior and park management.

As an ideal candidate, you will need to have:

• High secondary education or equivalent
• Degree in Business Management
• Working at Height (OSHAD compliant) qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of Operations experience in a supervisory role and 5 years in a senior management role with direct reports
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong command of English
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledgeable of rides and attractions in theme parks
• Strong people skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Good team player
• Knowledge of Kronos and Oracle applications
• Financial skills to prepare and manage a budget
• Previous experience a senior manager in dry ride operations would be an advantage
