The Operations-In-Charge oversees and manages the day-to-day operations of an auto dealership. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the dealership and the satisfaction of customers. The following are typical duties and responsibilities associated with this position.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Leadership and Team Management:

•Supervision: Supervise and manage staff within the operations department, including sales support staff, administrative personnel, and service coordinators.

•Training: Provide training and guidance to employees to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities effectively.

Process Optimization:

•Workflow Management: Develop and optimize workflow processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

•Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management, ensuring that the dealership has an adequate stock of vehicles and spare parts.

•Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to maintain the highest standards in vehicle servicing and customer interactions.

Customer Service:

•Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction levels.

•Issue Resolution: Address customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally to maintain a positive dealership image.

Financial Management:

•Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation and manage departmental expenses within the allocated budget.

•Profitability: Implement strategies to maximize profitability, including upselling services and accessories.

Compliance and Regulations:

•Legal Compliance: Ensure that the dealership operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

•Documentation: Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records related to vehicle sales, service, and customer interactions.

Reporting:

•Performance Reports: Generate regular reports on departmental performance, sales figures, customer feedback, and other relevant metrics.

•Analysis: Analyze reports to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

Marketing and Sales Support:

•Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing department to plan and execute promotional events and campaigns.

•Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary resources and information to meet sales targets.

Vendor Management:

•Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with vehicle suppliers, spare parts providers, and other vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Continuous Improvement:

•Process Enhancement: Continuously assess departmental processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

•Training: Stay updated with industry trends and provide training to employees to keep them informed about the latest developments.


QUALIFICATIONS:


•Bachelor’s degree in business administration, automotive management, or related field (preferred).

•Fluent in Arabic language.

•Previous experience in automotive dealership operations or a related role.

•Strong leadership and team management skills.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

•Financial acumen and budget management skills.

•Knowledge of automotive industry regulations and standards.

•Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

•Proficiency in relevant software applications for data analysis and reporting.
