Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Lahore (Sundar Industrial Estate)

Job Summary

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end factory operations within a mobile manufacturing setup. This role ensures efficient production planning, quality compliance, cost optimization, and seamless coordination across departments. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, hands-on experience in labor-intensive environments, and the ability to drive operational excellence while meeting production targets and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, manage, and supervise complete factory operations including mobile assembly and production lines

· Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are met in line with quality standards

· Monitor and control operational costs, wastage, line efficiency, and productivity KPIs

· Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HR departments

· Implement, review, and continuously improve SOPs, workflows, and operational controls

· Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety standards, audit requirements, and company policies

· Oversee inventory control, raw material planning, and line readiness for production

· Analyze operational data and present performance, risks, and improvement plans to management

· Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, attendance discipline, and manpower productivity

· Lead continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and timely resolution of operational issues

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline

· 5–8 years of experience in factory operations, preferably in mobile manufacturing

· Strong understanding of production planning, line balancing, efficiency tracking, and KPIs

· Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

· Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced manufacturing environments

· Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/HCM systems, and operational reporting tools

Preferred Experience

· Prior experience in mobile phone assembly, electronics manufacturing, or FMCG production

· Hands-on exposure to large-scale, labor-intensive factory operations

· Familiarity with internal/external audits, compliance standards, and quality systems
