The Operations Manager is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the daily operations of the company management to ensure efficient service delivery, operational excellence, client satisfaction, and profitability. The role includes managing and leading multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with Qatar regulations, and maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple management contracts across commercial, residential, industrial, and government projects.
- Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations, company policies, and client requirements.
- Develop operational strategies to improve service quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor contract performance, KPIs, SLAs, and operational budgets.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Lead, mentor, and manage operations staff, supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate manpower planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Prepare operational reports, monthly performance reports, and client presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Resolve operational issues and client complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar labor laws, HSE regulations, and international Facility Management standards.
- Support tender submissions, mobilization of new projects, and business development initiatives.
- Monitor procurement activities and vendor performance to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as IFMA, BIFM, FMP, PMP, or NEBOSH are an advantage.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Management operations.
- At least 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Experience managing multiple contracts within Qatar or GCC countries.
- Valid Qatar Driving License is preferred
