Position Summary:

The Operations Manager – Event & Exhibition is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and operational management of all events, exhibitions, and brand activations. This role ensures smooth end-to-end delivery—from concept development and production coordination to on-site setup and post-event dismantling—while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on executor, skilled in team leadership, vendor management, logistics, and event production, with deep experience in the event and exhibition industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Operations Management

  • Lead, plan, and manage the end-to-end operational execution of events, exhibitions, and activations.
  • Develop operational strategies, production schedules, and event logistics plans.
  • Oversee venue layouts, booth setups, stage construction, lighting, AV, branding, and technical installations.
  • Ensure all activities align with client requirements, budgets, and timelines.

2. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Supervise and coordinate operations, logistics, and production teams throughout project execution.
  • Assign roles, delegate tasks, and ensure accountability among team members.
  • Conduct pre-event briefings and on-site coordination to ensure flawless execution.

3. Vendor & Supplier Management

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage vendors, fabricators, contractors, and service providers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and delivery standards.
  • Source materials and solutions that are cost-effective and operationally efficient.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Prepare and manage event operation budgets in coordination with finance and project teams.
  • Ensure cost control and resource optimization across all event components.
  • Approve operational expenditures within the authorized budget limits.

5. Logistics & Compliance

  • Plan and manage transportation, inventory, and material movement for events.
  • Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance during setup and event execution.
  • Coordinate with authorities for venue permissions, licenses, and safety certifications.

6. Quality Assurance & Client Satisfaction

  • Maintain high standards of production quality and operational excellence.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, collect feedback, and recommend improvements.
  • Support client servicing teams by providing operational insights and technical expertise.

7. Innovation & Process Improvement

  • Continuously enhance operational workflows and project management processes.
  • Introduce new materials, technologies, and sustainability practices in event execution.
  • Collaborate with creative and technical teams to deliver innovative event experiences.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5–8 years of proven experience.
