Outbound Sales Development Specialist (Cold Calling) – Remote (U.S.)

Position Overview

We are hiring a full-time Outbound Sales Development Specialist to support our sales leadership and generate qualified appointments through high-volume cold calling.

This is a high-impact role. You will be responsible for initiating conversations with decision-makers, qualifying prospects, overcoming objections, and booking appointments for our closing team.

We are not looking for script readers. We are looking for experienced sales professionals who know how to think independently and drive real results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make 60–100 high-quality outbound cold calls per day
  • Book qualified sales appointments with decision-makers
  • Clearly communicate our digital marketing services and value proposition
  • Qualify prospects and assess fit in real time
  • Handle objections confidently and professionally
  • Maintain accurate CRM notes and follow-up records
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to improve messaging and performance

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently booked, attended, qualified appointments
  • 70%+ appointment show rate
  • 10–20% conversation-to-booking rate
  • Clean handoffs to the closing team
  • Strong monthly appointment performance

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of cold calling experience (required)
  • Outstanding spoken English
  • Deep understanding of live sales conversations (not dependent on scripts)
  • Ability to quickly learn and explain digital marketing services
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and performance-driven
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and professional home office setup

Who This Role Is NOT For

This role is not suitable for candidates who:

  • Rely heavily on scripts and cannot adapt conversations
  • Need constant supervision
  • Avoid accountability or performance metrics
  • Lack confidence handling objections live

Compensation Monthly Base Range:

Performance-Based Commission Tiers:

  • 10–19 appointments/month → $20 per appointment
  • 20–29 appointments/month → $25 per appointment
  • 30+ appointments/month → $30 per appointment

High performers have strong earning potential through commissions.
