Job Summary:
The Outdoor Sales Van Representative is responsible for driving the sales van to assigned areas, visiting customers daily, promoting and selling disposable products (such as food packaging, tissues, plastic items, etc.), delivering goods, collecting payments, and building strong customer relationships. The role requires excellent communication, product knowledge, and strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales & Customer Acquisition
- Visit existing and potential customers daily according to the assigned route plan.
- Promote and sell all disposable and food-packaging items to retailers, restaurants, cafés, groceries, and catering companies.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Achieve monthly sales targets set by the management.
2. Van Operations & Delivery
- Load and unload products into the sales van before starting the route.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of items to customers.
- Keep van stock updated and maintain proper stock rotation (FIFO).
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the van at all times.
3. Customer Service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide product information, pricing, and recommendations based on customer needs.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and report issues to the supervisor.
4. Payment Collection & Documentation
- Collect cash or cheque payments from customers and submit them to the accounts department daily.
- Issue invoices and delivery notes using the company system.
- Maintain accurate daily sales reports, route records, and stock movement reports.
5. Coordination & Reporting
- Report daily sales performance and market feedback to the Sales Supervisor.
- Inform management of any competitor activities or market changes.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team for stock availability and loading.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in van sales (preferably in disposable or FMCG products).
- Valid UAE driving license (manual or automatic depending on company requirement).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong product knowledge of disposable and food packaging items.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily routes.
- Basic computer skills for generating invoices and reports.
