Packaging Estimator

The Packaging Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for packaging projects. This includes evaluating materials, labor, production processes, and supplier pricing to support sales, procurement, and production planning teams. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of packaging manufacturing processes, cost structures, and a detail-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer specifications, drawings, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates for packaging products.
• Collaborate with sales, design, and production teams to understand project scope and technical requirements.
• Calculate costs for materials, labor, machine time, and subcontracted services.
• Maintain and update cost databases, supplier pricing, and historical job costs.
• Prepare detailed quotes and proposals for customers, ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
• Monitor material availability and pricing trends to ensure accurate forecasting.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives related to cost estimation and quoting workflows.
• Track and report on estimate accuracy and profitability post-job completion.

Qualifications Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Packaging Science, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in estimating, preferably in the packaging, manufacturing, or print industry.
• Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating or ERP software (e.g., Radius, EFI, SAP, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities.

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
