Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Ad Strategist to join our team as a full-time employee. This strategic role is responsible not only for campaign execution but also for driving the success of our advertising creative. The Strategist will own the paid media strategy, and execution across platforms (Programmatic, Search, and Social), and critically, the review and strategic guidance of all ad assets to ensure maximum performance.
The Strategist will plan, execute, and optimize campaigns, while coordinating with our Ad Manager who will assist with setup and management within the platform.


The ideal candidate will work closely with our existing Accounts Teams, Ad Manager, Content Coordinator, Content Strategist, writers, and designers, serving as the primary source of platform-specific creative best practices. This position will also be present in client meetings as needed and assist in campaign quarterly audits, as the Ads expert of the team.


Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Integrated Strategy & Execution:
    • Lead the development and execution of holistic paid media strategies, integrating Programmatic Media (Display, Native, Audio, Video, DOOH) with Search and Social campaigns.
  • Creative Asset Review & Guidance:
    • Review all ad assets (copy, design, video) prior to launch to ensure full alignment with platform requirements, strategic campaign objectives, and established best practices.
    • Provide direct, actionable feedback to design and writing teams to improve asset performance, focusing on elements that drive higher click-through rates (CTR) and conversion rates.
  • Content Collaboration & Training Guidance:
    • Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and Content Strategist to develop and deliver training and guidance for writers and designers on ad copy and creative best practices for each platform (e.g., LinkedIn vs. TikTok).
    • Establish documented standards for effective ad asset creation.
  • Performance Oversight:
    • Take ownership of campaign performance, conducting deep-dive analysis and providing hands-on optimization to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).

Competencies:

  • Programmatic Advertising Mastery:
    • 2+ years of direct experience planning, executing, and optimizing campaigns within a major Demand-Side Platform (DSP).
    • Expertise across various programmatic formats: Display, Native, Audio, Video, and Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH).
  • Google Advertising Expertise:
    • Mastery of Google Search and Display campaigns.
    • Experience with Google Shopping and Google App Ads is a plus.
  • Social Media Advertising Mastery:
    • Expertise in Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn Advertising, and Pinterest Advertising.
  • Creative and Communication Acumen:
    • Proven ability to articulate why specific creative assets perform or underperform.
    • Strong experience translating performance data into clear, creative briefs for writers and designers.
  • Platform Proficiency (Highly Valued):
    • Experience with Twitter/X Advertising and TikTok Advertising is a strong plus.
    • Familiarity with SEO, search, and social media on how they integrate with advertising. Experience with Google Apps is a plus.
    • Experience with Teamwork or other project management software is also helpful.
  • Tracking Expertise:
    • Master of Google Analytics reporting and event configuration; proficiency in Google Tag Manager setup; HubSpot ad integration, tracking, and campaign management is a plus.

Education & Certifications:

  • Current Google Ads Certifications (Search, Display, Shopping, or Apps).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of direct, hands-on experience managing substantial paid advertising budgets, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Google Ads Certification required


Location:
Farotech offers a flexible working environment, where most days the Digital Advertising Specialist can choose to work from a home office OR work from our Farotech corporate office in Horsham, PA. Anticipate one or two (1-2) in-person days per month. Training period would be a hybrid of in-office and virtual/remote for the first 60-90 days (approximately 2-5 days in person). Candidates would ideally live within one (1) hour of Horsham, PA.
