Part Time Nanny

Position Overview

A warm and attentive family is seeking an experienced, nurturing nanny to provide full-time care for their 3-month-old infant. The ideal candidate has strong infant and toddler experience, a deep understanding of developmental milestones, and the ability to create a calm, engaging, and structured environment that supports healthy growth and attachment.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, both shifts of 10 am - 6 pm *and* 12 noon - 5 pm requested

Flexible schedule accommodations, 25-30 hours per week

This role requires a caregiver who is confident in early infancy care and knowledgeable about developmental stages from newborn through toddlerhood.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care for a 3-month-old infant
• Follow and support feeding schedules (breastmilk/formula preparation as needed)
• Manage diapering, hygiene, and daily care routines
• Establish and maintain healthy sleep routines
• Engage in age-appropriate developmental activities (tummy time, sensory play, language stimulation, motor development support)
• Monitor and track developmental milestones
• Support early language and cognitive development through reading, singing, and responsive interaction
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized infant environment
• Perform child-related household tasks (bottle washing, baby laundry, tidying play areas)
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines, progress, and observations

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional infant care experience
• Strong knowledge of infant developmental milestones (3–24 months)
• Experience supporting sleep routines and feeding transitions
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Up-to-date vaccinations (as requested by family)
• Non-smoker
• Reliable transportation
• Professional references
