Role Description:

To sell spare parts for heavy vehicles by identifying customer needs, providing technical support, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring timely availability and delivery of required parts to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Tasks:

  • Greet and assist customers (walk-in, telephone, and email) with their heavy vehicle spare parts inquiries and orders.
  • Identify and recommend the correct parts required for heavy vehicles using catalogues, manuals, and digital systems.
  • Prepare quotations, process sales orders, and ensure accurate billing.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse for availability, picking, and delivery of parts.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or fast-moving parts to the Parts Manager.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of heavy vehicle models, parts, and specifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers, workshops, and transport operators.
  • Follow up on customer orders, deliveries, and payments to ensure service continuity.
  • Assist in achieving monthly and annual sales targets set by management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills required:

  • High school diploma or technical certificate (Diploma in Automotive/Mechanical is an advantage)
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in parts sales, preferably in heavy vehicles/transport industry
  • Good technical knowledge of heavy vehicles and their components
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP/parts catalogue systems is preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple orders efficiently.
  • Valid UAE driving license (optional, based on role)
