We Are Hiring:
Location: Austin, TX
Facility: Ascension Dell Seton Medical Center
Department/Specialty: Surgical Services Operating Room
Schedule: Day shift | Full time Monday - Friday 6:30 am-3:00 pm. no call.
What You Will Do:
- Execute rapid and thorough cleaning of the OR between cases, including floor sanitation and equipment disinfection, following strict infection control protocols.

Safely move patients from pre-op to the OR and from the OR to PACU, ensuring patient comfort and dignity.

Assist the surgical team in safely positioning patients on the operating table using specialized bolsters, pillows, and straps.

Gather necessary equipment (e.g., towers, monitors, specialized beds) for specific cases and ensure all supplies are restocked.

Deliver lab specimens to pathology or the lab following precise labeling and handling procedures.

Assist the Circulating Nurse with non-sterile tasks, such as opening sterile supplies or running for extra equipment during a procedure.
What You Will Need:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
