Job Title: Patient Coordinator

Job Description:

The Patient Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of a dental clinic by managing patient inquiries, appointments, and administrative tasks. They serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Scheduling: Schedule appointments for new and existing patients, utilizing scheduling software efficiently to optimize clinic resources and minimize wait times.
  • Patient Communication: Communicate with patients via phone, email, and in-person to address inquiries, confirm appointments, and provide necessary information regarding treatments, procedures, and insurance coverage.
  • Check-In/Check-Out Process: Greet patients upon arrival, verify insurance information, and assist with completing necessary paperwork. Facilitate the check-out process by processing payments, scheduling follow-up appointments, and providing aftercare instructions.
  • Insurance Coordination: Verify insurance coverage, process insurance claims, and assist patients with understanding their benefits and financial responsibilities.
  • Patient Records Management: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and correspondence.
  • Coordination with Clinical Staff: Collaborate closely with dentists, hygienists, and other clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and address any scheduling or administrative issues.
  • Office Administration: Perform various administrative tasks such as managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the reception area.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for all patients.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or dental office setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including scheduling and electronic health records systems.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance billing processes is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
