Payroll Officer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately each pay cycle for all eligible employees.
• Calculate and apply statutory deductions and tax contributions correctly.
• Coordinate with HR to verify attendance and leave records.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee salary-related queries.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audits.
• Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management review.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and tax regulations.
• Manage final settlements, bonuses, and leave encashment for leavers.

Skill & Experience

• Proficient in Excel and payroll software tools for data accuracy.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail in calculations.
• Knowledgeable about tax, social security, and labour compliance laws.
• Excellent communication skills for addressing payroll-related employee queries.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and compensation information.
• Organized with time-management skills to meet payroll deadlines.

Note: Salary is disbursed in the local currency of the country of employment.
