Job Title:Payroll Processor (U.S. Payroll)

Location: Gulberg Town, Karachi

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Processor (U.S. Payroll) to accurately manage and process employee payroll in a timely manner for our client . The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in U.S. payroll regulations, tax compliance, and payroll systems, ensuring seamless payroll operations while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll for U.S.-based employees
• Accurately calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and benefits
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Prepare, review, and file payroll tax reports, including federal and state filings
• Manage payroll adjustments, corrections, and off-cycle payroll runs
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data
• Address employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally
• Coordinate with HR and Accounting teams for new hires, terminations, and benefit updates
• Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2s and 1099s
• Assist with payroll audits and generate reports as required

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Payroll Processor or Payroll Specialist (U.S. payroll)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems such as ADP, Gusto, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll, or similar
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

• Payroll certification (CPP or FPC)
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing
• Familiarity with HRIS systems
• Background in accounting or finance
