Payroll Specialist

Role Summary

The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurate and timely processing of payroll in compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies. The role ensures correct salary calculations, deductions, allowances, and statutory compliance while maintaining strict confidentiality. The position supports employees and management by providing payroll-related reporting and resolving payroll queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, Wage Protection System (WPS), and company policies.
  • Calculate salaries, overtime, leave encashments, end-of-service benefits, and final settlements.
  • Manage payroll components including allowances, deductions, loans, and advances.
  • Coordinate with HR and Finance for employee data, approvals, and payroll closures.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, employee files, and master data.
  • Handle payroll-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and management summaries.
  • Support audits by providing payroll documentation and reports.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data security of payroll information.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of payroll experience in the UAE/GCC.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, WPS, and payroll compliance.
  • Experience handling end-of-service benefits and final settlements.
  • Payroll experience in Hospitality / F&B is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in payroll systems and MS Excel.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving ability.

Preferred

  • Experience managing payroll for multi-entity or high-headcount organizations.
  • Exposure to HRMS or ERP payroll systems.
  • UAE/GCC payroll experience is mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
