The Payroll Team Leader oversees payroll operations for a diverse workforce in Saudi Arabia, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with MHRSD regulations, and alignment with local goals.

This role combines team leadership, process optimization, and client engagement, supporting both multinational and local clients.

Operating within a hybrid model, the Team Leader is based in Riyadh and collaborates closely with onshore (KSA) and offshore (India RDC) teams to ensure seamless, end-to-end payroll processing.

• Lead payroll operations in KSA, ensuring accurate, timely processing and compliance with local regulations.
• Act as primary client contact, coordinating with offshore (India RDC) teams for seamless service delivery.
• Supervise and mentor payroll specialists, conducting performance reviews and training.
• Allocate client portfolios, monitor workloads, and ensure SLA/KPI adherence.
• Review and approve payroll submissions, resolve compliance issues, and manage escalations.
• Oversee onboarding of new clients, including trial runs and reconciliations.
• Conduct client reviews, track profitability, and prepare performance dashboards for management.
• Drive process improvements and foster a high-performance, client-first culture.

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field;
• 5+ years in payroll roles with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory/team lead role;
• Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills;
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, great multitasking capabilities and ability for cross-functional coordination;
• Fluent in English and Arabic;
• Experience handling high-volume payroll clients and escalations;
• Advanced Excel and analytical reporting;
• Coaching and team development;
• Client relationship management.
