Part-time approximately 20 to 25 hours a week

Blue Sky Community Services is hiring Personal Assistants to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and community.

Personal Assistants help individuals live more independently by assisting with daily activities, community involvement, and skill development. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in someone's life while working in a supportive and positive environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist individuals with daily activities such as dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide light housekeeping and help maintain a safe home environment
• Support individuals in community activities such as shopping, recreation, and appointments
• Encourage independence and help build everyday life skills
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals you support
• Complete service documentation

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
• Ability to pass background screening
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient
• Ability to complete required training

Preferred Experience

• Experience in caregiving, home health, direct support, or working with individuals with disabilities
• CPR/First Aid certification (training may be provided)

If you have had experience in any of these areas we are interested. Direct Support Professional (DSP), Home Health Aids (HHA), Personal Care Assistants (PCA), Habilitation Technicians, Certified Nursing Aids (CNA) Caregivers, Teacher Assistants, and Paraprofessionals.

Starting Pay $18.50/hr | $19.50/hr After 1 Year | $21.00/hr After 2 Years

Part-time approximately 20 -25 hours per week

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
