Plant Manager

Ferretti Search is delighted to partner with a national industrial manufacturer and distributor to locate their next Plant Manager. This is a strategic operational leadership role that will have below-the-line P&L accountability, will guide a large organization through complex change, and will directly oversee manufacturing & distribution operations.

Plant Manager

Location : Suffolk County (Long Island)

Compensation : $180,000–200,000 (additional flexibility possible for well qualified applicants) + (Performance-based bonus structure).

Benefits : H/V/D / 401(k) + Match (and addition 3% added in as well), solid PTO . + Discounted Employee Stock Purchase Plan

Schedule : Full-time; Two-shift facility; ~20-hour daily operation across manufacturing and warehouse

What's in it for you?

• High-Level Leadership Role : End-to-end site responsibility for a growing manufacturing (~170 headcount) and distribution (~roughly 30 headcount) operation across multiple shifts.
• Operational Complexity : Lead a high-mix industrial manufacturing production and 103K sq ft distribution center with 400,000+ SKUs
• Transformation & Integration : Drive KPI systems, safety programs, Lean tools, and ERP/WMS migration into a broader national network

What will your day look like?

• Oversee Manufacturing and Warehouse : Full responsibility for production, inventory, distribution, and day-to-day shift operations
• Drive Continuous Improvement : Implement Lean/5S, visual management, maintenance programs, and safety culture
• Lead Operational Change : Stabilize legacy environments, lead WMS/ERP integrations, and scale site capabilities

Who are you?

• Experienced Operations Leader : 10+ years in plant-level manufacturing with a background in complex, high-SKU environments
• Change Agent : Proven experience stabilizing performance, implementing systems, and leading through transitions
• Cross-Functional Driver : Strong collaborator across quality, supply chain, IT, HR, engineering, and customer service
