Pre-Contract Manager – Interior Fit-Out

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Arabic-speaking Pre-Contract Manager – Interior Fit-Out to lead the pre-construction and tendering phase of interior fit-out projects.

The candidate will manage the full cycle from receipt of drawings and specifications through cost estimation, value engineering, client negotiations, and contract award.

This role represents the company directly with Clients and Consultants and therefore requires strong technical, commercial, and communication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract & Tender Management

  • Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work received from Clients.
  • Coordinate with QS Department to prepare BOQ, quantity take-off, and cost analysis.
  • Lead and monitor estimation activities until final submission.
  • Ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and timely delivery of tenders.

Commercial Review & Proposal Preparation

  • Review pricing strategy prior to submission.
  • Prepare commercial and technical proposals.
  • Present and explain offers to Clients professionally.
  • Handle tender clarifications and negotiations.

Value Engineering

  • Propose cost-effective alternatives without affecting design intent or quality.
  • Recommend material and finishing substitutions.
  • Support Clients in achieving target budgets through technical solutions.

Client Management & Negotiation

  • Lead meetings with Clients during pre-contract stage.
  • Maintain professional relationships with Owners and Consultants.
  • Follow up until final agreement and contract signing.
  • Ensure smooth handover to project execution team.

Internal Coordination

  • Coordinate with QS, Procurement, Design, and Management teams.
  • Align commercial and technical requirements before contract award.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
  • Candidate must be an Arab Engineer (Male or Female).
  • Minimum 8–15 years experience in Interior Fit-Out / Finishing projects.
  • Strong GCC experience preferred (Qatar experience is an advantage).

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of interior finishing materials and systems.
  • Ability to review and understand construction drawings.
  • Proven experience in tendering and estimation.
  • Excellent negotiation and client-facing skills.
  • Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
  • Commercial awareness with deal-closing capability.
