Position Overview:
As a Presales ELV Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and guidance to potential customers. Your primary responsibility will be to understand customer requirements, propose appropriate ELV (Extra Low Voltage) solutions, and develop compelling proposals and presentations. You will collaborate with sales representatives, clients, and consultants to ensure that the proposed ELV systems meet the client's needs and align with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Customer Consultation: Engage with potential customers to understand their specific ELV system requirements, project objectives, and budget constraints. Conduct site surveys, analyze technical specifications, and identify potential challenges or opportunities.
Solution Design: Utilize your technical expertise to design and propose optimal ELV system solutions that meet the client's requirements. Study Tender documents and Prepare system layouts, BOQ, equipment specifications, and cost estimates while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Design & Engineering of IP and Analogue CCTV System, Fire Alarm, PA System, Biometric systems, ACS systems, Alarm systems, Structured Cabling, PABX and parking barrier system based on the drawings & technical specifications.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales team to develop comprehensive proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the proposed ELV system solution's value proposition. Clearly outline the technical specifications, project scope, implementation plan, and associated costs.
Technical Presentations: Deliver engaging and persuasive technical presentations to clients, showcasing the benefits and features of the proposed ELV system solution. Address customer concerns, questions, and objections effectively, highlighting the advantages of the proposed solution.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest trends, advancements, and innovations in ELV technologies and systems. Develop a deep understanding of the company's product offerings, their capabilities, and their competitive advantages.
Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and project management, to ensure seamless handover of projects from presales to the implementation phase. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and quotes for inclusion in proposals.
Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with the proposed ELV system solutions, such as technical feasibility, budget constraints, or regulatory compliance. Provide recommendations to mitigate these risks and ensure successful project delivery.
Documentation: Prepare accurate and detailed technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, scope of work, and proposal content. Maintain a comprehensive library of reference materials and case studies to support the sales team.
