Print Supervisor – Digital & Large Format Printing

Our St. Petersburg locations are among the highest-ranked stores in the Bay Area, with a strong specialization in digital and large-format printing. We are seeking an experienced Print Supervisor to lead the print production operations across two The UPS Store locations in St. Petersburg.

This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of print production, including digital press, large-format printing, finishing, quoting, workflow management, quality control, and project delivery. The Print Supervisor will organize and manage print production across both stores, ensuring projects move efficiently from design and quoting to production and final delivery.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with strong graphic design and print production skills, excellent organization, and the ability to guide and support a team while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Print Production Leadership

  • Oversee daily print operations across two locations, ensuring efficient production and timely completion of projects.
  • Lead and support team members involved in print production and finishing.
  • Maintain production schedules and ensure consistent workflow between both stores.

Prepress & Graphic Design

  • Create, edit, and prepare print-ready artwork using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat).
  • Perform prepress checks, imposition, and file preparation for both digital and large-format printing.
  • Ensure proper resolution, bleed, color profiles, and formatting before production.

Digital & Large Format Production

  • Operate and supervise production on digital presses, large-format roll printers, and flatbed printers.
  • Manage and maintain finishing equipment such as cutters, laminators, bindery equipment, and mounting systems.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and maintain equipment for optimal performance.

Workflow & Project Management

  • Organize and track multiple print projects simultaneously from intake to delivery.
  • Create and manage production schedules and project flow between both stores.
  • Ensure clear communication with team members regarding project status and deadlines.

Quality Control

  • Implement and maintain strict quality control standards across all print products.
  • Verify color accuracy, print alignment, finishing quality, and packaging before delivery.

Sales Support & Customer Consultation

  • Meet with customers to understand project needs and provide print solutions.
  • Prepare accurate print quotes and project estimates.
  • Help customers select materials, finishes, and print specifications that meet their goals.
  • Lead and support team members involved in print production and finishing.
  • Maintain production schedules and ensure consistent workflow between both stores.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat).
  • Experience in digital print production and large-format printing.
  • Demonstrated graphic design and print production artist skills.
  • Experience operating and maintaining large-format printers and digital presses.
  • Knowledge of print finishing processes (lamination, cutting, binding, mounting, etc.).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead, train, and support team members.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

SCHEDULE

  • Full-time
  • Primarily Monday–Friday
  • Some weekend shifts on a rotating basis

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
