Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to support our purchasing operations. The successful candidate will assist with sourcing suppliers, managing purchase orders, maintaining records, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and cost-effective procurement of materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery terms

Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently

Maintain and update supplier information and procurement records

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to fulfil purchasing needs

Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services

Liaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies, delays, or issues in delivery

Obtain and compare quotations for goods and services

Support contract administration and supplier relationship management

Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and procedures

Assist in preparing procurement reports, budgets, and cost analyses

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field preferred

2-3 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or administrative role

Experience with procurement software (e.g. ODOO,JIFFY, etc.) is an asset

Skills:

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of procurement and supply chain best practices

Familiarity with inventory management and vendor management systems

Work Environment:

warehouse office-based, supplier site visits if required

May involve occasional overtime to meet deadlines

Salary Range: 3,000 - 3,500

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
