Procurement Coordinator
We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join Pacific Mobile Structures as a Procurement Coordinator. As part of our team, you will provide support through purchasing for the entire organization, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery. You will liaise with vendors, establishing strong working relationships and compare materials and service pricing to pursue the most profitable course in line with business objectives and sourcing best practices. Our ideal candidate is an expert with organization and possesses excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A great attitude is a must for this position.

Pay range: $50,000 - $60,000 DOE
Job Duties:- Oversee procurement purchase order and requisition processing, ensuring materials and / or services have been ordered and received accurately and timely according to purchase descriptions while communicating any discrepancies to appropriate departments.
- Build relationships with existing vendors to identify supply chain opportunities, challenges and ensure vendors can meet delivery and quality obligations.
- Negotiate prices with vendors to ensure that costs are kept within budget and fall within the competitive range.
- Source and evaluate new vendors to provide material and / or services for existing or emerging needs ensuring they can uphold PMSI values and standards.
- Communicate and develop relationships with buyers to create requisitions and purchase orders that cover the scope of work discussed.
- Track and manage data for competitive bids, price comparisons, standardization considerations, and inventory audits.
- Assist the Supply Chain Department in creating, updating and maintaining procurement processes, while identifying processes that could be improved.
- Oversee and manage buying portals including but not limited to additions, removals, updates, transitions and regular maintenance.
- Coordinate with PMSI departments such as operations, accounting and sales to ensure that all necessary information is available, accurate and communicated for incoming procurement activities
Preferred Requirements:- 1-5 years or equivalent experience in procurement, sourcing, project management, or a relevant logistics/supply chain role
- Strong Microsoft knowledge and experience
- An analytical, problem-solving personality with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with internal customers and vendors
- Experience with data entry, database management, and reporting and compliance
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations a plus
