Job Summary
The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to maintenance, operations, and capital works across managed communities. The role requires close coordination with engineering, facilities management, and property teams to ensure timely sourcing, cost control, vendor performance, and compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a senior procurement or commercial role within an Owner Association Management environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement activities for maintenance, repair, and capital works projects
Source, pre-qualify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers
Prepare and issue purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contract documentation
Conduct technical and commercial comparison of quotations and prepare evaluation reports
Coordinate closely with engineering, FM, and community management teams
Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, quality, and contractual compliance
Ensure cost optimization without compromising quality and service standards
Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation
Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and UAE regulations
Support budget planning, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
Assist in developing and improving procurement procedures and vendor databases

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline)
Minimum 2–5 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in the UAE
Prior experience in Owner Association Management, Facilities Management, Property Management, or Construction is strongly preferred
Strong understanding of technical specifications, BOQs, and scope evaluation
Experience in vendor management, contract support, and supplier negotiations
Proficient in MS Office and procurement / ERP systems
Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple packages and meet tight timelines
Valid UAE driving license is preferred
Relevant home-country experience will be considered an added advantage.
