Key Responsibilities
1. Purchase Support
- Assist the Procurement Manager in sourcing materials and products as per company requirements.
- Collect and compare quotations from vendors to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure approvals are obtained as per company procedures.
- Follow up with vendors on order confirmation, delivery schedules, and payment status.
2. Vendor Coordination
- Maintain communication with existing suppliers and identify new vendors when required.
- Support vendor evaluation by monitoring performance, delivery timelines, and quality compliance.
- Maintain an updated vendor database and assist in developing long-term supplier relationships.
3. Inventory Monitoring
- Coordinate with the warehouse/store team to track stock levels and forecast reordering needs.
- Support timely replenishment of fast-moving and essential items to avoid stockouts.
- Assist in periodic inventory checks and help reconcile discrepancies.
4. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain organized records of purchase requisitions, quotations, POs, and delivery notes.
- Support preparation of procurement reports and cost analysis summaries for management review.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and documentation standards.
5. Cross-Department Coordination
- Liaise with operations, production, and accounts teams to ensure purchase alignment with business requirements.
- Follow up on invoice processing and ensure proper documentation for payments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics roles.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or purchase software preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the procurement and supply chain function.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
