ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential suppliers to secure the best deals.
- Manage vendor relationships and monitor performance to ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with GST regulations and keep up-to-date with changes in GST laws.
- Apply correct HSN codes for all procured goods to comply with tax and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate logistics for the movement of goods both domestically and internationally, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations.
- Efficiently create and manage purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries.
- Analyze procurement costs and contribute to budget management efforts.
- Maintain clear communication with suppliers regarding product specifications and schedules.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment to achieve procurement goals
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management (experience in a junior role is a plus).
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software or tools is a bonus.
