Procurement Officer – Sewage / Wastewater Treatment

Location: Qatar

Job Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of materials, equipment, chemicals, and spare parts for STP/WWTP operations.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for pumps, valves, blowers, membranes, electrical/instrumentation items, and treatment plant consumables.
• Obtain quotations, conduct bid comparisons, negotiate prices, and issue purchase orders.
• Support tendering activities by preparing RFQs/RFPs and commercial evaluations.
• Maintain vendor database and monitor supplier performance.
• Coordinate with logistics for customs clearance and timely delivery of imported items.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, QHSE standards, and Qatar regulations.
• Work closely with Engineering, Projects, Operations, and Finance to meet project timelines and material requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering.
• 3–5+ years’ procurement experience in Sewage/Wastewater Treatment or industrial plants.
• Good knowledge of WWTP equipment, chemicals, and spare parts.
• Strong negotiation and ERP skills.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
