The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of goods and services required by the organization. The role ensures timely procurement, cost-efficiency, and quality compliance while maintaining strong vendor relationships. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in office stationery, retail, or F&B procurement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for goods and services
- Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors
- Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement records, and track deliveries
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and local regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Conduct market research to identify trends and new suppliers
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements
- Resolve supply chain or vendor issues promptly
- Assist in budget planning and cost-control initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role
- Prior experience in office stationery, retail, or F&B procurement preferred
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of procurement procedures, contracts, and inventory management
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- Experience working in Doha, Qatar or the GCC region
- Familiarity with local supplier networks and procurement regulations
Work Environment
- Office-based with occasional site or supplier visits
- Standard working hours with flexibility as needed for procurement deadlines

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
