Procurement Officer – Garments & Uniforms

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, accessories, and services required for uniform and garment production. The successful candidate will ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven procurement aligned with production schedules and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers for fabrics, trims, buttons, zippers, threads, labels, packaging materials, and machinery-related supplies
• Request quotations, prepare comparative analyses, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
• Raise purchase orders and closely track deliveries to ensure uninterrupted production flow
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while identifying new vendors to improve quality and reduce costs
• Coordinate with production, design, and quality teams to ensure materials meet technical and quality specifications
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase documentation, supplier databases, and performance evaluations
• Monitor inventory levels and plan material replenishment in line with production demands
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable industry standards
• Support budgeting, cost control initiatives, and material cost analysis
• Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure proper receiving, inspection, and storage of materials

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1–2 years of procurement experience, preferably in garment, textile, or uniform manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment accessories, and sourcing processes
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
