Procurement Officer ( Interior Fit-out)

Job Description:

As a Procurement Officer at our interior fit-out company, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the seamless execution of our projects by overseeing and managing all procurement activities. Your role will involve sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, services, and equipment vital for the successful completion of our interior fit-out projects.

Responsibilities:

Procurement Management:

• Oversee all procurement activities related to interior fit-out projects.
• Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best value for materials and services.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project timelines.

Cost Estimation and Analysis:

• Gather, review, and analyze pricing data to prepare accurate cost estimates for projects.
• Propose cost-saving initiatives and efficiencies to reduce project costs.
• Review and monitor project budgets to ensure adherence to financial objectives.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Manage documentation including budgets, contracts, and procurement records.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, expenses, and project progress.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Coordinate with project teams to provide updates on procurement progress and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with project objectives.

Contract Management:

• Assist in the negotiation and review of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions throughout the procurement process.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ UAE years of experience in procurement, preferably within the interior fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of Fit-out construction materials, processes, and costs.
• Proficiency in negotiation, contract analysis, and procurement software/tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Leadership skills to effectively manage procurement activities and collaborate with project teams.
