Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer / Purchase Manager with a strong background in the food processing manufacturing or trading industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, controlling inventory levels, and ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source raw materials, packaging, and other supplies required for food processing operations
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing, quality, and delivery terms
• Prepare, review, and manage purchase orders in accordance with company policies
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize wastage
• Coordinate with production, quality, and finance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Track supplier performance and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Control procurement costs and contribute to budget planning and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

• 3–7 years of proven experience in procurement or purchasing
• Mandatory experience in food processing manufacturing or food trading industry
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Good knowledge of inventory control and procurement best practices
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience handling local and international suppliers

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
