Procurement Specialist – Import & Export (International Trade)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist with strong expertise in international import and export operations. The ideal candidate will manage global sourcing, supplier negotiations, customs documentation, and logistics coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement in compliance with international trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end international procurement for goods and services
• Source and negotiate with overseas suppliers and manufacturers
• Prepare and review import/export documentation (Invoices, Packing Lists, BL/AWB, COO, HS Codes, LC, etc.)
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping lines
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies
• Monitor shipment schedules, track deliveries, and resolve delays or discrepancies
• Analyze costs, lead times, and supplier performance to optimize procurement efficiency
• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports
• Collaborate with finance, warehouse, and operations teams

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in procurement with import/export specialization
• Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs clearance procedures, and international shipping
• Experience in handling LCs, TT payments, and international contracts
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems/Odoo and MS Excel
• Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
