Role Description

Bausch + Lomb is offering an exciting opportunity for a Product Specialist role based in Saudi Arabia with Commercial Pharma team. The Product Specialist will be responsible for promoting medical products and services to healthcare professionals in and assigned region. He/She will be responsible for the development, growth and maintenance of sales in a specific territory, for specific accounts related to the Pharma portfolio while having a defined sales target to achieve operating within the established policy guidelines.

Bausch + Lomb is looking for action-oriented mindsets with excellent planning and organization skills to build professional network and solve problems using commercial awareness and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement the activities that are necessary for the realization of the individual territory target
  • Meet sales target in own territory
  • Continuously plan and monitor on a quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily basis
  • Implement effectively and monitor the outcomes of all the planned promotional activities, providing feedback on strategy
  • Call on and service targeted customers within the allocated territory across all disciplines, i.e. Specialists (Ophthalmologists, General Practitioners, Pharmacists)
  • Detail targeted customers and utilize selling skills that has maximum potential/positive effect on sales
  • Responsible for activities in pharmacy, including but not limited to monitoring of stock-levels, shelf presence and orders
  • Maintain and develop important customers and/or Key Opinion Leaders by keeping open channels of communication, in which the company and its products are well presented
  • Effectively utilize allocated marketing spend to access, support and grow key customers in the individual territory
  • Attend industry meetings, conferences and trade shows as required
Qualifications / Experience
  • Holder of Doctor, Pharmacist, or Biologist Diploma
  • Resident in Dammam or Khobar
  • A minimum of one year in the same position is required
  • Experience in ophthalmology is a plus
  • Proven record of success in sales, territory management, and diligent work habits
  • A valid driving license
  • Product Specialists, Sales, and Customer Service skills
