Job Purpose:

The Production Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising the manufacturing operations of surgical instruments. This includes managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, optimizing resources, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve on-time delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Execution

· Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer orders and delivery deadlines.

· Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.

· Monitor workflow to ensure production targets are achieved.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

· Oversee adherence to ISO 13485 and MDR quality management standards.

· Ensure all products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

· Collaborate with QA/QC teams to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.

3. Resource Management

· Manage workforce allocation, shift planning, and performance monitoring.

· Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of production equipment.

· Optimize material usage to minimize waste and reduce costs.

4. Process Improvement

· Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

· Implement Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen techniques where applicable.

· Develop SOPs and train staff to maintain consistent production standards.

5. Reporting & Coordination

· Report daily/weekly production progress to senior management.

· Coordinate with procurement, stores, and logistics teams for smooth operations.

· Ensure timely communication of any production delays or challenges.

6. Health & Safety

· Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies in the production area.

· Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).

· Minimum 5–7 years of experience in surgical instrument manufacturing or related medical device industry.

· Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, CE, and MDR compliance standards.

· Experience in managing teams and production floor operations.

· Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus.

· Based at the Sialkot manufacturing facility.

· Full-time role with flexibility for extended hours during critical production periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs125,000.00 per month
